Preventive and Emergency Medical Sciences is India’s first-of-its-kind, a 100-day course that deals with preventing and managing both communicable and non-communicable diseases with profound confidence, by the end of this course, one will be able to treat patients in rural areas and semi-urban areas as well.

Who are Eligible for this Course?

PharmD Students Who have Completed their Internship.
Foreign Medical Graduates Who need clinical Exposure.
MBBS Graduates interested in learning the intricacies of managing a clinic on their own.

What Will You Learn in This Course?

Diagnose and Manage Common Diseases
How to Educate, Screen, and Prevent the Complications of Chronic Diseases like DM and HTN, particularly in a rural setting.
Initiate Emergency Management for Medical, Surgical, Poisoning cases, and Trauma Cases.
Know When to Manage and When to Refer a Patient.
Perform Basic Procedures like IV Cannulation, Inserting Ryle’s Tube, Sample Collection, and Foley’s Catheterization.
Interpret various Lab Parameters, ECG, and Radiological Investigations (X Rays, Ultrasound)
Manage a Small Clinic including handling of staff, Pharmacy, Lab and Record-Keeping
